Volunteer Respiratory Therapists (Session 8: Skeletal Dysplasia)
August 10, 2016 @ 9:00 am - August 12, 2016 @ 3:00 pm
Volunteer Respiratory Therapists are needed to help kids at Camp Korey have the time of their lives!
Valid WA State Respiratory Therapist License and BLS or PALS Certification Required
Overnight Wednesday – Friday*
Each Respiratory Therapist oversees the medical needs of 1-2 campers per session who require intensive respiratory support with tracheostomy tubes. Volunteers are required to room in overnight with a camper with a tracheostomy for emergency care.
Camp Korey empowers children and families living with serious medical conditions, through year-round life changing experiences, always free of charge. Our residential summer camp is the prescription for joy, growth, and healing. Campers go on an adventure that helps them disconnect from the stress and isolation of their medical condition, and plug into all the magic of Camp! Campers leave Camp Korey with increased self-esteem, confidence and resiliency.
