The Nature, Body + Soul Refresh Women’s Glamping Weekend at Camp Korey will be held August 19-21, 2022.

Some of my best childhood memories are the experiences I had at camps as a kid. Being outdoors with structured activities created a connection to nature that still serves me. I remember having fun going on hikes, playing in baseball games, participating in skits and talent shows, being creative in arts and crafts projects, and riding horses in the woods.

As we get older it gets harder to play and have fun. “Nourish your mode of play, and be with people who nourish it, too, “says Stuart Brown, M.D., the author Play, How it Shapes the Brain, Opens the Imagination, and Invigorates the Soul.” Dr. Brown also states that the lack of play is a health risk to your body and soul.

Today, glamping is a popular way for women to play, connect to other women, and connect to nature. You can have a camping experience with amenities like a yoga class, hiking, farm-to-table food, star gazing with an astronomer, and s’mores. Whether you come with girl friends or alone, you can experience the magic of Camp Korey, play, and have fun, and/or slow down, and recharge.

Your participation helps Camp Korey create more transformative experiences for children and families living with life-altering medical conditions, 100% free of charge.
