Fifteen years ago, Tim Rose founded Camp Korey in honor of Korey Rose who passed away from bone cancer at the age of eighteen. Tim wanted to create a special place where imagination sparks the spirit, wishes come true, and childhood comes first! Since its founding over 31,000 campers and families have been served, always 100% free.
This year our campers need us more than ever to reduce their isolation, engage them in creative virtual programming and activities and share hope for the coming years. Your support keeps our campfire burning.
To celebrate Camp Korey’s fifteen years of impact, recognize Tim and honor Korey’s legacy, we have created the Korey Challenge to raise support to continue Korey’s legacy. We are hoping to raise $200K and will announce the results at our annual GROW fundraiser and auction – online this year for a weeklong auction culminating in a live virtual presentation on September 26.
