At Camp Korey, we serve children and families living with serious and life-altering medical conditions. To keep them as safe as we possibly can, we need a lot of medical support for all our programs. Whether you’re a physician, nurse, pharmacist, respiratory therapist, or other medical professional, we would love to have you join our programs!
Available Positions:
Medical Providers-
Friday 4pm – Sunday 11am (Family Weekend)
Sunday 1pm – Thursday/Friday 1pm (Summer)
Role Description: Providers administer direct medical care to campers living with serious and life-altering medical conditions. Volunteer Providers collaborate with nurses, cabin counselors, and the leadership team to ensure that campers are provided with the highest quality of care.
Qualifications:
- Valid MD/ARNP/PA license
- Valid BLS certification
- Pass Background Check
- Up-to-date Immunization Records
Nursing Volunteers-
Friday 4pm – Sunday 11am (Family Weekends)
Sunday 1pm – Thursday/Friday 1pm (Summer)
Role Description: Registered Nurses provide direct nursing care to campers living with serious and life-altering medical conditions. Volunteer nurses collaborate with physicians, staff nurses, cabin counselors, and the leadership team to ensure that campers are provided with the highest quality of care. Each RN oversees the medical needs of 8-10 campers per summer session.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State RN license
- Valid BLS certification
- Pass Background Check
- Up-to-date Immunization records
