See you at Camp Korey for our first annual 1K & 5K Heart and Sole Fun Run & Roll!   

This fun community event will definitely be one filled with a lot of heart and many different types of soles! Whether you are feeling the challenge of a 5K or are more interested in the less serious 1K, ALL are invited to come and enjoy a morning filled with fun, inclusion, and a sprinkle cookie of silliness!  Whether you are doing the 5K or the 1K everyone will be swapping out those timing chips for potato chips and chocolate chips!  See you at the Finish-Line party!   

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come out and join the fun!  
(5K = 3.1 miles) and (1K = .62 miles)

Date: Saturday, September 19th 
Location: Camp Korey
5k Check-In: 8:15 a.m.
1K Check-In: 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Waves start rolling out: 10 a.m.

Early Bird: $30 through August 1, 2026
                       $35 August 2 – September 18, 2026
Day of:        $40 on September 19, 2026 at the Heart and Sole Fun Run and Roll
Free for kids under 12 (reach out to info@campkorey.org for a coupon code)

Pre-registration deadline: July 1, 2026
Pre-registered participants will receive a finisher medal, swag, snacks, and water 

 

Parties are for everyone right!?  
Whether you participated in the 5k or the 1k or you just came out to cheer everyone on, EVERYONE is welcome at our Finish-line Party! Stick around after the race for a finish-line party which will have a lot of fun activities and things to check out!  If you are hungry after the race, we will have a food truck onsite as well as Alderfire BBQ where you can purchase some yummy BBQ or even try a dirty soda from Fir and Fizz! Check out some awesome local community booths or say hi to some special guests from our Seattle Seahawks! We will also have a Community Art Project hosted by the Museum of Northwest Art, our friends from the Lake McMurray Fire Department will cool you off with a firehose shower, and don’t forget to strut your stuff at the Costume Red Carpet Fashion Show!  All this and more!  This is an event you will not want to miss!
