Warm Fuzzies, Projecting Positivity

Warmth comes not just from the crackling campfire but also from the exchange of Warm Fuzzies. Soft, fuzzy pom-poms circulate among campers, carrying with them words of encouragement, appreciation, and love. The simple act of passing around these tactile tokens creates an environment of positivity, where every camper feels valued and supported. It’s a reminder that much like a Warm Fuzzy, the love and connections at Camp Korey are tangible, comforting, and meant to be shared.

Camper Alex loved his Warm Fuzzy key chain so much that he proudly wore it all week as a constant reminder of the support and kindness around him. This tradition fosters an environment of uplifting one another and strengthens the bonds between campers.

Silly Olympics, Letting Loose

Laughter fills the air during the Silly Olympics, a tradition that encourages campers to let loose and just be kids! From painting each other with bright colors to dancing in giant bubbles, the Silly Olympics provide an opportunity for uninhibited fun and camaraderie.

Campers and counselors alike engage in friendly games cheering each other on with infectious enthusiasm. Through laughter and playfulness, the Silly Olympics breaks down barriers and fosters a sense of unity.

Book of Firsts, New Adventures

At the heart of Camp Korey lies a cherished volume known as the Book of Firsts, a testament to the spirit of exploration and self-discovery that defines the camp experience. This unique tradition encourages campers to document their daring adventures and newfound courage, capturing the essence of each momentous occasion. Camper James proudly wrote in the book about his first time riding a horse, celebrating his exhilaration and sense of accomplishment.
