We are thrilled to introduce our new Chief Executive Officer, Dan Worra! Dan joins us with a boatload of experience (pun intended!), with 24 years in the U.S. Navy and a recent eight-year executive role at the Port of Anacortes. He is a seasoned leader who brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to his new role and is poised to lead Camp Korey into an exciting new chapter of growth and impact.

What sets Dan apart isn’t just his impressive leadership and camping skills—it’s his heart of gold. In addition to his maritime achievements, Dan has a passion for community involvement shown through serving as a Rotarian, on nonprofit boards, and volunteering for initiatives that support community safety and economic development. His passion for making a difference in the lives of others aligns perfectly with Camp Korey’s mission of providing joy, adventure, and healing to children with life-altering medical conditions and their families.
As we gear up for our 20th-anniversary celebration in 2025, Dan’s energy and vision will undoubtedly play a vital role in shaping the future of Camp Korey. Get ready for some exciting adventures, heartfelt moments, and unforgettable memories as we embark on this journey together!

Spring at Camp Korey has seen an incredible blossoming of amazing volunteer groups and new exciting opportunities! Not including all of our amazing program volunteers, we have also seen the incredible growth of our group volunteer program already this year.
