What sets Dan apart isn’t just his impressive leadership and camping skills—it’s his heart of gold. In addition to his maritime achievements, Dan has a passion for community involvement shown through serving as a Rotarian, on nonprofit boards, and volunteering for initiatives that support community safety and economic development. His passion for making a difference in the lives of others aligns perfectly with Camp Korey’s mission of providing joy, adventure, and healing to children with life-altering medical conditions and their families.
As we gear up for our 20th-anniversary celebration in 2025, Dan’s energy and vision will undoubtedly play a vital role in shaping the future of Camp Korey. Get ready for some exciting adventures, heartfelt moments, and unforgettable memories as we embark on this journey together!
Please join us in giving a sincere thank you to Tim Rose, Camp Korey’s founder, for stepping in as Interim CEO and guiding camp through this transitional phase in camp history. And, let’s all give Dan the warmest Camp Korey welcome ever and get ready to make some magic happen under his leadership!
Until the next campfire,
Your friends at Camp Korey
