Giving Glossary

Ready to bring joy, adventure, and resilience to children who need it? Here’s how: You can make a gift online (link to donate page), by mail, or over the phone. We gratefully accept gifts via cash, checks, credit cards, gifts-in-kind, and stock.

  • Cash Gifts

Unrestricted cash gifts allow for a wide range of projects and programs to be funded.

  • Recurring Giving

Whether it’s a monthly donation, or a pledge that spans 2-3 years, recurring gifts enable you to make gifts over time that add up to a big impact.

  • Legacy Giving

Include Camp Korey in your will or living trust! These gifts, typically made from your estate, come to fruition upon your passing.

  • Donor Advised Funds

Donor Advised Fund (or DAF) giving has become more popular for individuals and families that want to benefit multiple charities throughout the year and for extended periods of time.

  • Family Foundations

Family foundations are private foundations set up, funded and governed by families who make grants from their charitable endowments. They can be funded with cash, non-cash, or other family-controlled assets.

  • Matching Gifts

Here’s an easy way to double your gift: ask your employer if they have a charitable gift-matching program! Click here to use our Amply tool to easily see if you qualify for matching gifts.

  • Gifts of Stock

Gifts of stock are a convenient, efficient way to donate and ensure even more kids can come to camp. Upon transfer, the stock is then sold and the proceeds are made available to camp.

  • Gifts in Kind

Gifts in kind are supplies, materials, and professional services that help meet the needs of our campers and grow our capacity to serve even more people in our community.
